Subscriber Management System (SMS)

This blog post mainly focus on to give an idea about the subscriber management system  (SMS), I really hope this will add some value to your knowledge.

Mainly Subscriber management system is help to organize the company or the person`s business and its operations, there for this is combination of hardware, software and the human resources.  

There are different types of Subscribers: 
  • Unlimited use of a services or collection of services -
This kind of scenario the usage may be personal or business but services is can be unlimited or collections, the best example is the PAY TV and the Broad band services without limits
  • Subscription for a fixed set of services/goods 
For an instance if someone registered in a newspaper or magazine subscription, then one copy of each issue of a  newspaper/ magazine will provide period of time.
  • Subscription for basic access/ minimal services and some additional charge depending on usage
Assume a postpaid telephone service, normally user pays the basic service fee at the end of the month, but according to the additional services such as long distance call, pay per call services the monthly charges will change.
  •  Pay as you go subscription. (convenience model)
These categories also known as convenience model because this is useful for customers by reducing the amount of work or time required to do. The best example is pre-paid mobile services
